Umberto Scipione is a prominent figure in Italian music worldwide. A prestigious role acquired both thanks to his award-winning career as a composer of soundtracks for highly successful films and for his acclaimed concert performances nationally and internationally.
He has written soundtracks for over three hundred productions including films, documentaries, short films, fiction, television shows, commercials, and radio dramas.
He is the author of songs, classical music pieces, and educational works.
On the occasion of the Fiftieth anniversary of the Beatles, in 2010 he was a successful protagonist in the concert held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, with the arrangement of the song “Do you want to know a secret?”, performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
He is a member of the jury of the “David di Donatello” (Italian Oscar) and the European Film Academy.

He is currently composing the soundtrack for the new film by Alessandro Siani, which will be in cinemas in 2024.
